Tulip Pleated bag/ Shoulder bag in Pewter with Olive Leaves

I named this bag after making my first bag of this design which featured a bold tulip print. I loved the print and couldn't think to call it anything else except the Tulip bag.

The design started out as bag that could hold a tupperware lunch box and a tall drink bottle, as well as all my other day-to-day essentials. It is pleated bag that is very roomy and has an inner pocket big enough for an iPhone and additional phone/iPod/small compact camera, a swivel clip for your keys, reinforced with a magnetic snap and featuring a bag flap with a coconut shell slider ring which is fixed in place.

The bag is made with medium weight deco fabric in Pewter with Olive Leaves. A beautiful pewter fabric with an olive leaf pattern and lined with a natural beige cotton. The fabric is lined with interfacing and with another layer of interfacing making for a sturdy durable bag but at the same time with the softness of cotton. All the seams are double stitched and reinforced. The bag handles are all handmade and feature a knotted design with a leaf finish.
